Well yes, so was I, but it was the only one I could think of at the time. And wordy comedy - which is really my drug of choice - doesn't tend to be laugh-your-arse-off funny in the same way as good physical comedy does, IMO. And whatever one's opinion about Jim Carrey, he really was fab in that movie (and in The Mask.

I think wordy comedy tends to wotk best on TV - stuff like Blackadder and Yes Minister spring immediately to mind:)
