L&O UK

Liked it overall - the pacing is good - better than many other UK cop dramas.

The relationship between Bradley Walsh's and Jamie Bamber's characters works really well.

Jamie Bamber is cute.

Harriet Walter's downmarket accent is somewhat disconcerting! She usually plays uber-posh :)

The tell-tale L&O "dings" between each scene, played over the black screen with the white titles are a bit freaky when the title reads - "Hallem Street, Kings' Cross, N1" !!

Jamie Bamber is very cute.

Freema Agyeman has done really well out of that short stint in DW!

Ben Daniels is cute too ;-)

Patrick Malahide as a nasty defence solicitor... sure we'll be seeing more of him.

Not a bad start overall - I thought the first section was better than the second (and no, not just due to the presence of Mr Bamber in the first part!) - so I'll be watching again.

Methinks I need a Jamie icon. Suggestions?

ETA: Found some! Although I wouldn't mind finding some more...

The review in the RT wasn't all that promising and it's on at the same time as WDYTYA, so I didn't watch. I'm already convinced of Mr Bamber's cuteness, but I bet he doesn't get to appear in the vicinity of nothing but a very small towel in L&O.

OK, that icon should be one of the NY Brad ones, not a fox and a bunch of hounds :-(

Well, I did wonder at the sudden influx of doggies!

I think you're probably right about the small towel, which is a very sad thing :(

The write-up in RT wasn't great, I know, but the good stuff was good. The legal-eagles were just a bit too earnest I suppose, but maybe that side of things will improve.
