I'd forgotten that line was a throwback - thanks for the reminder.
I started listening to these sometime mid-Feb, so I ripped through them all in three or four weeks and was then thinking "oh, bugger! - I've got to wait a month now for To the Death to come out" - and then it came out about 2 days later, so that was lucky for me :-) I've now gone back to Storm Warning. I only listened to the first three in the "main" range, so i decided to start again - although I confess i've missed out The Stones of Venice - once was enough! Minuet in Hell started promisingly I thought, but it sort of wandered off somewhere in the middle and not even the presence of the lovely Nicholas Courtney could save it,
I liked the comedy aliens in Invaders - although Orson Welles was a but underused. He's someone I've long thought the Doctor should meet on the telly. And I've literally just finished The Chimes of Midnight which had me on the edge of my seat!
