I think I tried it last time it was on the BBC and nearly slit my wrists. I can't think that 12 years later, the BBC are going to have re-interpreted it to make it less awful!

And given how much Dickens is going to be around in 2012, why are they doing yet another version of GE when it's only 12 years since the last one?
