Track Santa

For anyone who's wondering when Santa might arrive at their house - my kids are having great fun checking out his whereabouts courtesy of the NORAD Santa-tracker.

As I write this, he's in Omsk!

There's even a 3D version if you have Google Earth :-)

That's pretty cool! Are your ladies in bed yet? I remember my sister and I begging to go to bed straight after dinner on Christmas Eve. Of course, I was never very good at falling asleep quickly and that night was always the worst!

Elinor went to bed about half an hour ago, and Abigail about an hour before that. We let them stay up until they were tired... Abigail said to me this morning "Mummy, can you make me tired tonight, so Santa can come?" *g*

They're usually pretty good. We usually have to wait a while for them to be sound asleep, but they've always been up at a civilized hour on Christmas morning!

My last job for the night is to stuff the turkey and put it in the oven which is on the timer. I have it set to start cooking about eight so I don't have to haul myself out of bed too early!

That NORAD Santa tracker is BOSS. Can you imagine seeing that if you were a kid? I'd pee my pants! I love it!
