i have always wondered if that shot of Amy looking up meant that the Doctor came to see her then (the first confirmation of such a theory came in FaS, actually), but the issues with Amy's missing parents and aunt haven't been developed at all. i know her aunt is in the series finale two-parter... but that's a long time to wait for answers and progression unless it's something really big. i'm still scratching my head as far as what you guys actually consider to be progression, but maybe i was just spoiled with Donna's development. Maybe it won't make sense to me until later, as Donna didn't click for me until i saw Turn Left, and then everything that had happened before made sense.
