(no subject)

I'm just joining in with the general squee about today's news on the Tate 'n' Tennant front.

I'm so glad David was listening to me when I said, back after TRB, that they really needed to team up for Much Ado About Nothing *g*.

If I suggest they do The Taming of the Shrew at some point, do you think he'll take that up, too?!

Now I just have to work out how I'm going to pay for the tickets. In the style of the inimitable Baldrick, I'll have to get down the docks and start doing favours for sailors!

God, it's SO EXCITING! I've bought tickets for our group already, though I haven't planned anything else. DETAILS, DETAILS!

*squees with you* But dear god, he's certainly not a cheap date. I bought tickets for 5 people and nearly had a heart attack when I saw the total!

Okay... WHY couldn't they have decided to do that when I was over there?! I had not planned in return to London quite so soon!

Is that your icon? Can I pinch it?

[identity profile] caz963.livejournal.com 2011-01-09 10:19 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, God - me too! So much for trying to pay off some of the debts this year.

He's not a cheap date

No, he's not. But he's worth it!

Send me dates and I'll see what I can do. Sigh. I was tempted like hell when it was with Patric Stewart in Hamlet. But Much Ado is my favorite play EVER.

Previews from 16th May, runs until 3rd Sept. [livejournal.com profile] hooloovoo_42 has some tix up for grabs if you wanna check her LJ.

Let me know!

I'm debating whether or not to go! Not for lack of interest! :)

I'm not sure I could justify another trip to London just to see a play...(ahem...Hamlet) especially when we finally said we're going to take our honeymoon! Oops! :D

Maybe if I find a cheap flight, I'll go for a weekend or something.

And I could totally see Catherine in Shrew (punny!), but not so sure about David.

[identity profile] caz963.livejournal.com 2011-01-10 10:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Surely Mr Bit could be persuaded that a honeymoon in London would be just the ticket?!

I think David can do pretty much anything when it comes to the stage. And he's got the charm to be able to make Petruchio not seem like a total bastard. But Much Ado is definitely the better option for them both.
