This isn't something I normally do because I tend to like to keep fic fairly close to my chest until I'm satisfied that it's in a decent enough state to let someone else see it. But I'm still at home - recovering, thankfully - and I'm determined to stay awake so this is by way of stopping me dozing off!

I've never been one to be overrun with plot-bunnies, so there aren't too many of these.

Hello you!

Like I said to snorkel_maiden I always planned to make the press scandal fic different to so many of those that are out there.

"Just because she’s glamorous, doesn’t mean she can’t be ”serious” ... we had some discussion about how she wants to present herself, what she wants to accomplish as First Lady things she wants to do, you know, which causes she supports, charities..."

He sniffs and leans back in his chair. "Being glamorous didn’t do Jackie Kennedy any harm."

"Apart from the fact that her husband was shot."

"I hardly think her underwear choices were the cause of that."

The Gaza one is less far along... but it's from Marjorie Moss' pov.

She was shocked at the sight of his face – granted she hadn’t seen Josh Lyman in a while – a couple of years maybe – but this man sitting next to her wasn’t the man she remembered. The Josh she knew was a handsome charmer, quick witted, funny, the centre of attention without even trying… not this dishevelled hollow-eyed man.

He focused on her finally, and opened his mouth to speak. Nothing came out at his first attempt; she saw him swallow hard before he tried again. “Mrs Moss?”

Can't make any promises on that one - but I do want to finish the first one. My writing style has changed a bit though - so it may be a case of rewriting it :(

I keep looking at the "press scandal" one, but I've not so far managed to get into the right mindset. But I've not given up completely!
