Wait a minute. That's one of mine.

I'm laughing so hard at this, I had to pass it on. I stole a meme from [livejournal.com profile] selenak; I had to paste something wot I wrote into a box, push a button and my writing style is analysed.

It's sadly addictive, and it doesn't just have to be fic that you feed in - it can be anything at all.

I got a variety of results - apparently, depending on the fic and the fandom, I write like Stephen King (couple of DW fics), Margaret Attwood, (DW) James Joyce (God help me!), (WW) H P Lovecraft, Chuck Palahniuk (um - sorry, but who he? - and whoever he is, I write like him in both fandoms) and Mark Twain (another WW fic).

But this one cracked me up. I fed in a West Wing ficlet called Syntactical Pedantry and I got this.

I write like
William Shakespeare

I don't think I could ask for more than that, really, could I?

I should warn you that that fic contains no women dressed as men, no murders, no ghosts, no witches, no faries and no Princes of Denmark.

And before you ask, no, I didn't feed it any pr0n!

Did you see Fight Club? That is a Chuck Palahniuk story. It was a book first, he has written numerous other books too.

I put in a story that has pr0n in it and I got Stephen King...*scratches head*

Oh, no, that's not really my sort of thing. But I got him for about three different fics - a couple of DW ones and a WW one! None of them had anyone hitting anyone else. Well, maybe Donna was doing some slapping, but other than that..!

Who knows? I've never actually read anything by him...he's not really my style either but my hubby enjoys his stuff. His books are always very strange and not good strange, at least not in my opinion.
