(no subject)

Thanks to Ms Tate and Mr Tennant, I have a huge, stupid grin on my face for the first time in days.

If you do nothing else today, listen to their version of We Go Together from the Much Ado soundtrack (it's on iTunes now). I defy you to keep a straight face :-)

I love them so much. :D

Yes! Have you heard the tracks yet? They're just too fabulous for words and the pair of them are perfect together.

I can't stop listening to it! :D

I'll have to download that! Tomorrow, when I'm not on muscle relaxants. *g* Right now I might end up downloading things I'd regret.

... and you'd probably have ended up giggling uncontrollably so yeah, best avoided while in that state!

But it's just ADORABLE! And he's got a nice singing voice, too :-)

It might be my new favoritist thing ever, yes. :)

I know - it's just TOO adorable!

The pair of them are just perfect together, and David sounds like he's got a huge grin on his face throughout.

He's not got a bad singing voice, either :-)

Yay! iTunes here I come.

Glad they cheered you up :)

It would be a sad state of affairs if David Tennant couldn't cheer me up, wouldn't it?

If nothing else, he sounds like he's singing with a huge grin on his face, and you just can't help grinning too.

And he CAN sing! I knew he could hold a tune and obviously isn't tone deaf, but he's got a decent singing voice. Another one to cross off the list of "Things David Tennant Can't Do."

It's a short list ;-)

I'm sorry, whut? They're singing? Like....I'm picturing the song from Grease - is that it?

I have got so much internet digging to do, it isn't even funny.

[identity profile] caz963.livejournal.com 2011-07-13 04:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Fortunately no, it's not the song from Grease! It's a bonus track on the Much Ado About Nothing cast recording.

Is a double-entendre laden tiny excerpt :)

Would it be odd to say I love how "British" they sound? I can imagine them singing this onstage in a variety show circa the 20s or somewhere thereabouts.

He really has no idea now much he really loves her, does he? Bwah! The everyday man in him may love blonde, young, and petite but his secret self does appear to be smitten with a redhead.

No, I get what you mean. It's very twenties, isn't it?

I can't listen to it without smiling because I can hear the smile in David's voice. It's quite something when a guy has an infectious smile that you can't even see!!

*sigh* When is someone going to have the sense to write them a play/film/TV show?

This is why he's such an awesome actor!

Edited to add: and can I get an "Amen!" on what a sweet voice The Divine Miss Cate has herself?

Indeed she has. Although I knew she had a good voice because I've heard her sing before, so it didn't come as such a susprise!

David's done a bit of warbling here and there - although Blackpool was all "sing-along" and you couldn't always hear him - so it was a nice surprise to hear that he can do a bit more than just hold a tune :-)

Cazlet #1 this afternoon - "Are David Tennant and Catherine Tate married?"

Me: "No."

Cazlet #1. "Oh. Well they should be. They're awesome together."

From the mouths of babes...

The mouths of babes, indeed!

I am at the theatre in NYC. It's intermission of War Horse. It's breaking my horse-loving heart although I did have roll my eyes at the bit of anthropomorphizing at the beginning.
