Okay, so how's this...

... for a cracked-out theory?

The little girl isn't Jenny, as I've seen suggested, but Jenny's daughter.

Which makes her the Doctor's granddaughter.

So...

Yep. It's Susan ;-)

That's the second time I've seen that theory in the last hour--and with Moffat involved, I could believe it.

I have only just seen the end of the episode, but - and I don't know how this works - but she is Amy's daughter, but also part-Time Lord? The scanner that said she was both pregnant and not pregnant is making me think this. Because I both am and am not confused.

WAIT wasn't Donna a bit Time Lord by the end?

AMY/DONNA BABY.

I'm thinking Eleven and River right now, but who knows. I definitely think that just because there's a picture of Amy holding a baby doesn't mean that Amy's the mother of said baby. xD

So then, Gallifrey is BACK - AGAIN? Because we KNOW Susan fled with the Doctor FROM Gallifrey. We knew that in "An Unearthly Child."

If Moff is going to completely fuck with DW like that... I might stop watching :(
There is no need to fold the Whoniverse in on itself like that.

Sorry to be a nay-sayer, but it's not cool, it's not fun it's not even crack... its just WRONG (like Jack Harkness)... I will stop watching over that.

Went to reply to your reaction post and saw this...

*head explodes*

My god, I hope not. Classic Who is the only refuge I have left once I'm done watching the brain hurt that has been S6 so far.

Still, along the lines of crack theories, I take nothing for granted. Moffat could very well say that nothing in S5 or 6 ever happened and decided to start over again with a new Eleven. Or maybe that Eleven is the last Doctor we'll ever see and sabotage the BBC to keep his will. *headdesk* He would do that too. I can't expect anything out of him other than a complete brain meltdown.

And I'm rather fond of my brain too....

with Moffat pulling the strings, anything's possible it seems, sadly this is not always a good thing
