Went to reply to your reaction post and saw this...
*head explodes*
My god, I hope not. Classic Who is the only refuge I have left once I'm done watching the brain hurt that has been S6 so far.
Still, along the lines of crack theories, I take nothing for granted. Moffat could very well say that nothing in S5 or 6 ever happened and decided to start over again with a new Eleven. Or maybe that Eleven is the last Doctor we'll ever see and sabotage the BBC to keep his will. *headdesk* He would do that too. I can't expect anything out of him other than a complete brain meltdown.
Heh. I'm not sure what's more alarming - the fact that I came up with such a crackpot theory or the fact that it's even within the realm of possibility!
I admit that I was being totally facetious with this, because I got the feeling the Moff was pretty much dead set against bringing back too many characters from Who PM (pre-Moffat) ;-)
Given what we know the logical possibility is that it's Jenny - it was SM after all, who persuaded Rusty to bring her back to life at the end of TDD. I don't necessarily think he had this in mind all along, but he may well now be making use of his suggestion.
I suppose that sometimes, even with him, the most logical explanation can be the right one.
Oh! Crackpot theory party? I love those. Hmm... let me see....
I know! Because the Master is one of the three main villains to always show up to a DW party, he's obviously escaped the "huh?" factor that was EoT and Rassilon, fell back into '69 as a pile of goo, and took over the body of the girl and is now regenerating! Or maybe it's Sally Sparrow...or Reinette! *goes through list of Moffat's characters* The problem with crack theories is that they never end! Or real theories. Worst yet, they are all entirely possible!
Oh, best one! The Doctor Donna! How's that? ;) (Not that I think Moffat ever liked Donna considering how he tried to get her out of the way in S4's SitL/FotD as quickly as he could to make way for River and the Doctor.)

I get that feeling too. He still has the Daleks, although they changed color, and River Song but that was his creation. Sure he brought back most of the villains in cameo appearances in TPO except that hardly counts. It's a shame he'll be head when the fiftieth anniversary comes around (most likely at least). I know I just read an article somewhere about how Eccleston would not come back as Nine for a reunion ep. How sad.
Didn't know that about Jenny. Who knows what's going on in that strange brain of his anyway? *headdesk* Can I just know the ending now and be done with it?

And I'm rather fond of my brain too....

(Although I doubt it.)
