I got back into west wing last November (stopped when Sorkin left... and was inspired to start a rewatch November 5th when "Santos" won the election! I'm now on my 2nd rewatch- once through wasn't enough!)
I started looking for fanfic around February time and around April or so i came upon your rec site. I have read almost everything that you have rec'd so far. I've loved about 95% of it- you do an amazing job rec'ing.
I wanted to thank you for putting so much amazing fic in one place- I never would have known where to begin looking for it. Your fic and the fics that you've rec'ed have kept me entertained for countless hours.
I had an idea for a fic that i would love to read and was wondering if you knew if anyone had written something along the lines of what i have in mind- or if you would be interested in writing it-or might know someone who would be. The idea is a fic from Cliff's pov while he is reading Donna's diary- focusing heavily on what Donna wrote- her evolving feelings for Josh, thoughts on her experiences throughout the campaign and diff events throughout the first few years in office, Josh's ptsd and how she might have felt leading up to his being diagnosed and afterward, obviously Rosslyn, and also on having left the campaign and returning to it with the story of dr. freeride etc etc... but with some musings from Cliff along the line... i'm looking for something that really true to donna's voice and that stays within cannon (no shocking findings that josh and donna had some one night stand during the first campaign) and is true to what someone would write about in a diary- not as much about whats going but more on feelings and others feelings etc...
anyways was wondering if you know of anything along those lines.
