More stuff about me...

That "five questions" thing again, this time, courtesy of

1. What do you consider your most redeeming quality and why?
2. Can you name a time when that quality got you into trouble?
3. Who came up with your children's names (you, Mr. Caz, random third party intervention) and were they named after anyone?
4. If you could either speak to Brad Whitford on the phone weekly, but never see him in person OR get to watch him on stage monthly but never speak to him directly (nor stand by the stage door in the hopes that your eyes would meet!), which would you choose?
5. What is your earliest childhood memory?
1. Oh, God, that's a really difficult one - have I got any? I write good porn? ;-)
Seriously, I don't know. I guess I'm quite an empathetic person - good at putting myself in another's place, which can have a real downside at times.
2. Hm. Yes. (see above!)Most of the time, really, because I tend to tell myself that I don't have the right to feel crappy or upset about things because others have it a lot worse than I do; so I get very impatient and angry and frustrated with myself because I see my own feelings as weakness. And that's as far as I'm going on that one!
3. I came up with Elinor. She's not named after anyone, although the spelling came from Elinor Dashwood. She has two middle names - the first is Mr Caz's sister's name and the other was a last minute addition, the name of the hospital ward she was born in. Abigail was more Mr Caz, because I just couldn't find anything I really liked. The problem was coming up with a second girl's name when I'd already used the one at the top of the list. We did have names ready in advance though - boys' and girls'. Although to be honest, we never narrowed the boys names down to just one - we had three or four, right up until the time the babies were born, because Mr Caz was convinced they were both girls, so he wasn't bothered about boys names!
It's sad to admit that it took someone else to point out to me that I have a couple of Bartlets :-)
4. Um... you know, I'm sure many will think I'm crazy, but I think I'd actually like to get to talk to him properly. Much as I like looking at Brad, the things that have always attracted me to him are his personality, his intellect, his wit and sense of humour. Smart really is sexy as far as I'm concerned, and if talking meant we were friends and got to know each other well, I think I'd go for that.
5. You do remember that my childhood was a LONG time ago, right? It's difficult to say, really, because there are some things that I remember because my mum has told me about them - and I can't really say which are my memories and which are ones of which I've been reminded by others or by looking at photos. Which I guess might sound really sad...
Off the top of my head, I can't remember anything specific, just general stuff - like that I spent a lot of time writing as a kid, or with my nose stuck in a book. I remember my best friend from when I was about 9 or 10. I remember being in the school play when I was about 10 and having to sing a solo. I have vague recollections of familiy camping holidays, and time spent on a beach, but couldn't tell you when that was. Sorry, that's not at all exciting!
If you wanna play, just comment - either ask me five questions, or say if you want me to ask you some.
