You! You and your Doctor Who posts, spurring me on. Oh, watch DW. It's ever so lovely! (I said that in a posh british accent, btw). And what do I get?
Now leaving Heartbreak Station. Next stop, Heartbreak Station.
Damn. This was a really good series of episodes, though. I agree with all you've said in regards to Donna. I mean, that is just devastating!
The Rose/Blue!Ten thing bugged me but not because I ship them. I actually really like Rose - or, really, I just absolutely loved the whole Bad Wolf thing. I don't actually ship anyone on this show, to be quite honest, although if I had to pick someone for him to snog, it'd be her, I guess. Though I'd really rather that it didn't turn into some sort of Moonlighting thing.
My issue was that, yes, she didn't get a choice but, more-so, he didn't seem all that put-off by the way things turned out.
It's like, "Yeah, I spent two seasons being all broody about you being gone and now, poof! Oh, you've got Blue!me. You're good. I'll just move on, then. I was only brooding on your behalf. I'm actually quite fickle when it comes to women."
Not that he shouldn't move on, just that... I mean, in the last Bad Wolf Bay scene the guy destroyed a sun to basically make a phone call and now he's all, "Here, have your own fake!Doctor. He slices, he dices, he has only one heart! It's everything you need so that I can tie off this plot line in a neat little package make sure he doesn't do any damage." Too convenient and doesn't jive with the supposed sadness that he had about not being able to see Rose again, IMO.
And, my God, I have got to go to bed now. Damn flist's influence on my viewing obsessions. I'm going to be dead at work tomorrow.
