Um... not a lot
Apr. 6th, 2006 11:45 pmSo... Easter/Spring hols and not much really going on. Doesn't help that Elinor has gone down with a stinking cold and a hacking cough and now it looks as though Abigail's got it, so we're going to be housebound for a few more days... and I'll probably get it just in time to go back to school.
On the plus side - I actually managed to get some WORK done today! I had all these plans for getting everything I had to do out of the way at the beginning of the week so I could have the rest of the time to myself - I mean if I slog away for a day, I should be able to get it all out of the way. Trouble is , I got a bit... er... distracted (*g*) on Monday (!) and my brain has been more or less a pile of lust-crazed mush ever since! *points to icon*!
I did manage to get some other stuff done yesterday - big pile of ironing and lots of proof-reading, but I keep putting off the 'real' work stuff.
So I've made a deal with myself (!) - I will spend tomorrow or the next day working - 3 and a half lesson plans, class registers, new seating plans (that was an eye opener I can tell you - working out where kids should sit IS like rocket science!)... yup, should be able to wrap that all up in a day if I'm good. Bit of research maybe... Dance Music for the Yr 9s and I want to do something on Flamenco... and then I can do what I like for the next week. The added benefit of getting this done before Monday will be more than obvious to those on my flist... because after that, I'll probably be too busy bawling my eyes out.
