Is it the end of term yet...?

So, it was my first day back at school today... and it hardly feels as though I've been away, whilst at the same time, I feel as though I have absolutely NO IDEA what the hell I'm doing! (I'm told by other teachers that this is normal!)And the KIDS?! The kids are effin' HYPER! Already! I had to exclude two girls from the first lesson this morning because they just wouldn't shut up! That bodes well...
In addition, I've picked up another six hours/classes this term, two on Weds, two Thurs, and two Fri, which basically means I'm teaching full days there (I get one free period on Weds and Fri, but Thurs it's non-stop!). And my feet ache... I wonder how many miles I cover pacing the classroom all day...?

Thank God this is the last term training... because now I have less time to do it, the paperwork has increased exponentially (which I knew was gonna happen, but still...) I will be SO glad when I don't have to evaluate every single lesson and write a professional journal each week! (I mean, THIS is much more fun! *g*)
I have to say though, that it's the first job I've had where there haven't been days when I've clockwatched - and the time really does fly... although it's not Monday yet! (*g*)
