Always take a banana to a party, Rose…
May. 7th, 2006 07:20 pmHee!
So I didn't get to watch Doctor Who yesterday... well, strictly speaking, that's not quite true... I saw it, but couldn't hear it because Abigail was having a paddy!
But I got to see most of the Sunday repeat.
So they got to reuse some of the sets and costumes from “Casanova” this week!
And Mickey's on board the TARDIS now... so he gets to be "exposition boy" for a while, then - you know, asking the dumb questions for the audience's benefit.
And wow – this doctor’s got the women falling over themselves, hasn’t he?? *g* (understandable, I suppose – he’s pretty cute!) He's gotten more lip action in the last few episodes then all the others put together -
"I'm the Doctor and I just snogged Madame de Pompadour" heh!
And was that a Vulcan mind-meld?? *g* Some nice stuff though, about the open door working both ways, and Mme de P sensing the Doctor’s loneliness... I sense a running theme here...
To the clockwork villans – "It’s over… accept it. I’m not winding you up!"(*groan* - some things don’t change. Doctor Who was always famed for its dreadful puns!)
"My lover, the King of France..."
"Yeah?.... well, I’m the Lord of Time" (regal pissing contest!)
And *sniff*... ends as the camera pans up to reveal ... The Doc, alone ... awwwwww ...
Next week – CYBERMEN!!! WooHoo!!
