(no subject)

I had good intentions of actually "doing things" this weekend. Not that there was anything that particularly needed "doing", I just get these phases where I think I should be using my time to do something useful, rather than just sitting in front of the TV or - more usually - my laptop, fidding about.

But... as with most good intentions, they went down the pan when the weather deteriorated. It was pretty cold yesterday and we had some sleet, and this morning is the same. In fact, I spent most of yesterday afternoon (after I'd finished some marking) fiddling around at last.fm and later on at shelfari, which I joined at the beginning of this year and haven't really had time to go back to.

Thing is, both those places are scarily addictive...
