Stand and Deliver!
May. 31st, 2011 12:04 amAnyone who's been paying attention, will know of my love for the CBBC show Horrible Histories. It won the award for Best Sketch Show at this year's British Comedy Awards (a kids' show - gasp!) and deservedly so. It's the BBC at its best - educational AND entertaining.
Each episode contains a song which uses a recognisable style - from Gilbert and Sullivan to rap - and in the first episode of the new series (which started today) we got Dick Turpin by way of Adam Ant, even down to the drumming and the "huh!" :-)
