Given the elation most people seem to feel over this episode, and indeed this series, I'm glad to find that someone else feels as flat as I do about the whole thing. Moffat seems to rely very heavily on "wishing will make it so", which is a pretty easy way out of every single dilemma he sets up. I was really looking forward to this series despite the loss of my beloved Ten, but I would really trade all of these episodes for one more Doctor/Donna episode.
And I really can't stand Amy, although she did come off slightly better in the finale than she has for the last 12 episodes. I have to say that, since I've started watching the show, this is the only time I find myself not excited about next season.
