I had lunch this weekend with a few old school friends and we were talking about various school type things, including first day and uniforms and all this crap.
The amount of stuff our school told our parents we had to have, which never ever saw the light of day. I'm pretty sure I was the only kid who's mother sent them to school the first day actually wearing a money belt. I'm not even sure anyone else bought them, never mind put them on.
And oh, the joys of finding a coat to fit over a blazer. I think by the time I finished school I decided to just get a coat that fits and carried the blazer to and from school in my bag. Good luck with the continuing white sock hunt!
