30 Days of Nu-Who - Day Twenty-One

I was scratching my head a bit about this one, because I wasn't sure if it means location as in where the stories are set, or location as in where they're filmed. If the former, there's a lot to choose from, and if the latter, I'll be taking you on a trip around about three Welsh quarries! *g*



In the end, I decided it probably means the former option, although my selection actually fulfils both choices, because I'm going for Ancient Rome Pompeii. We've got a fabulous, iconic setting filmed at another fabulous iconic setting, Cinecitta Studios.



And then I thought of another one that's both a great setting and a great set - the Library. I'm sure I heard Euros Lyn say on a commentary or in the DWC that it was an old library that was due to be demolished - but it's appeared in several other programmes since (notably Sherlock) so I imagine it's gained a new lease of life as a TV location.
