caz963I am absolutely exhausted. It's been a very stressful week, and I can't coax my brain into coherence, so I thought I'd do a meme I stole from ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
annissag a few weeks back. With a few UK/US adjustments, here's the "key moments" meme - important dates in my life.
Get married : 1987. And again in 1999.
Buy a house : 1987 (the first time - I've done it several times since then!)
Get pregnant: 1998
Have baby #1 : 1999
Have baby #2 : 2002
Graduate from University: 1985
Graduate High School - we don't do this in the UK. I left school in 1982 and went to Uni.
Meet significant other : the current one? 1988 (I think)
Meet who you hoped was your significant other but wasn’t : 1979
Move out of parent’s house for good : 1987
Startcollege University : 1982
Become gainfully employed : 1985
Buy a car : I was given my first car for my 21st birthday - an old, 1972 mini that my Dad and my brother bought in a bit of a state and got back into working order. So that was in 1984. The first time I paid for a car was a couple of years later.
Get drunk for the first (and last!) time : 1995 (maybe? it was a long time ago!)
Get a cell phone: 1992
Get divorced : 1991
