I'm going to try to write a "proper" review in a minute, although tbh, I don't know what I can say that hasn't already been said - but the one thing that sticks out is how, as you say, everything goes up a gear when DT is on the stage. It's hard to tear your eyes away from him - but it's not (just) because he's so lovely to look at, it's because his presence is such that you can't help but be aware of him.
