Everything Brad has done all season has pretty much killed me actually, but in these last few episodes they really let him off the leash, and just... wow. Not that we didn't know what he's capable of, but it never ceases to amaze me that he can say so much with a flicker in the eyes or the twitch of a face muscle, a catch in his voice... and he does it while being so damn gorgeous it hurts! I liked the "standing next to him" thing too - I adore the way Sorkin writes friendships and the importance of loyalty. I guess my biggest regret across the whole of this season is that we didn't get more Matt/Danny scenes and more exploration of their friendship.
