It's been a few months since I've done a fic round-up, so I thought I'd get my ass in gear and do one. I'm sure you'll have seen most of these, but just in case you've missed anything, here are a pile of links anyway!
I don't visit JDFF much any more, but Chai wrote something new recently, which she posted there - Life After Paradise. It's set post-series and is very angsty - and be warned, Donna at the start of the story may not be everyone's cup of tea. (But of course, it all works out in the end!)
The message numbers there are: 25981, 25987, 25989, 25994, 25996, 25999, 26002, 26003, 26007, 26010, 26019, 26020 - and when she posts it at TNL, I'll put that link up here as well.
Here are the fics that have been posted at LJ that I'd certainly read again:
zinke posted a post-episode ficlet for The Crackpots and These Women over at
ww_renaissance called Of Wallets and Wrappers.
She’s also posted some more instalments in her Things We Didn’t See series – Making Sense of the Numbers and
Shadows of the Past; missing scenes from ED1 and ED2 respectively -
and
christinekh wrote Health and Strength a post ep for Guns Not Butter and Come Undone, a missing scene from ED1.
She also wrote me a birthday present (which I was privileged to share with
em_meredith), Bubbly Birthday Wishes.
quaggy_mire wroteShe’s Not You and an AU fic called For The Best, and
anita_coffee posted Fighting and Fountains, which featured that perennial favourite, Wet!Josh – heh.
By
little_zigzags -
A Tree Called Life.
An Easy Step to Silence.
Schrödinger Dreams, a post ep for 7A WF 83429.
Hide and Seek, set during Seasons 6 and 7.
and finally, Entering Another Dimension by
imperviousness.
If there's anything good I've missed, let me know!

Of the writers who were writing earlier, Jo and Ryo definitely, Marguerite, Pix (although there's very little of her stuff left since she removed her site) and Yana. Oh, and

Date: 2007-11-02 05:20 pm (UTC)I'm a stickler for good characterisation and good writing - if there are loads of grammatical and spelling errors in the first paragraph, I probably won't read it.
So don't feel like you're being lazy - you're just cutting out the crap!
