zinke suggested I might respond to this, and as it's Saturday night and there's nothing on telly, I thought I might as well.



1) Four places I go over and over?
Work (and that counts as two because I work at two schools!), Asda (their petrol is cheapest!) um... God, how sad is that? I don't think I have time to go anywhere else!

2) Four people who e-mail me regularly?
Diana, Fenny, Zinke, Linz.

3) Four of my favorite foods?
Pasta, Salmon, Chocolate, Baked cheesecake of any description!

4) Where would you rather be right now?
I can't say I'd rather be anywhere else - there are lots of places I'd like to go though - does that count? NY, Paris, Barcelona, a nice quiet Greek Island...

5) Four people I think will respond?
No idea - do it if you feel like it!

6) What is your occupation?
Music (and French) teacher.

7) What color are your socks right now?
Not wearing any.

8) What are you listening to right now?
An episode of Who do you think you are? on UK TV Docs.

9) What was the last thing you ate?
Toasted cinnamon and raisin bagel.

10) Can you drive a stick shift?
Wossat? Oh, does that mean a manual? Bloody hell, I should hope so!

11) If you were a crayon, what color would you be?
Red.

12) Last person you spoke to on the phone?
My mum. Or dad. One of the two.

13) Do you like the person who sent this to you?
Definitely. DF's of the world unite!!

14) Favorite drink?
Vanilla latte.

15) What is your favorite sport to watch?
I loathe sport.

16) Have you ever dyed your hair?
Only for about the last thirty years.

17) Pets?
2 Cats.

18) Favorite car?
Not fussed. As long as it gets me to where I'm going and I don't have to clean it, I'm happy.

19) Last movie you watched?
The Adventures of Robin Hood - the 1938 one with Errol Flynn (it was on telly last night and I think it has one of the best scores ever written).

20) Favorite Day of the year?
Nothing in particular. One where I don't have to work. Although having kids, Christmas Day is pretty special.

21) What do you do when you are angry?
I scream, shout and get very sarcastic. (I use hostility when hostility is called for.) I'm too practical to throw things though.

22) What was your favorite toy as a child?
God, I don't know if I can remember that far back! I had some favourite dolls, I remember. But I think I usually had my head in a book or was scribbling something.

23) What is your favorite season?
I'd be tempted to say Summer, except that being British, I'm not sure I know what one is. I like the Autumn.

24) Hugs or kisses?
Depends on who they're coming from!

25) Cherry or Blueberry?
Blueberry

26) When was the last time you cried?
A few months back when I was going through a pretty rough patch.

27) What's on the floor of your closet?
My closet? Singular?? I have two kids, how the hell could I manage with only one cupboard?? Or does that mean wardrobe? Shoes, sewing basket, boxes of clarinet music, assorted hangers and bags.

28) Favorite smell?
Baking smells.

29) Who inspires you?
Anyone who puts their money where their mouth is.

30) What are you afraid of?
Something bad happening to my kids. Falling short of what I expect of myself. Spiders.

Cheese.

Jane Austen. Anthony Trollope. Wilkie Collins. Dorothy Dunnett. Terry Pratchett (!)

None, really.

Er... about six I think.

35) How many years at your current job?
Almost three at one school, and five weeks at the other one!

Ssturdays.

State of confusion. State of annoyance. State of undress. State of perpetual bewilderment. State of - oh, that's not it? Well, none, then.
