Stuffing made`- check.

Mince pies made - check.

My day so far?
Home Depot for gift card - check
Mall for an exchange and a few last minute items - check
Work to drop something off - check
Grocery for a bunch of stuff - check (and it was a nightmare)
LCBO aka liquor store - check (see above about nightmare craziness)
Gas station for gift card - check
Convenience store for Egg Nog (can you believe the grocery was sold out?) - check
Car unloaded - mostly check

So, all I've left to do is a load of laundry which may or may not get done AND some present wrapping. Your wine and telly plan sounds better!

On the rare occasions I've had to go out on Christmas Eve, I usually find that if you leave it until after about 2pm, things have quietened down a lot. Although that's not so good if you need fresh stuff, because it's usually sold out by then.

I haven't gotten as far as the wine though - but that's okay, because I've been writing instead, so its a reasonable trade off!

Thank you *hugs*

I've got a few unfinished things loitering around here which I just haven't had the time to finish. But I have two almost done - one is pr0n, the other is Holy Night related. I couldn't get it done before Christmas, so I hope it won't matter if it's a bit late!

that sounds fantastic, caz

it's only afternoon of Christmas Eve here, so I haven't started cooking (that's tomorrow, when I am being completely non-traditional and making spaghetti with cooked-on-the-stove-all-day meat sauce. Also, hot fuge.)

Merry christmas to you and caz-family!

Non-traditional is good, though. We say every year - "shall we have something else this year?" and run through the options... but we invariably end up with turkey because we like it! And I have great recipes for left-overs which I sometimes think are almost nicer than the roast Xmas dinner!

Hope you and yours have a great time xx
