I went into Colchester this morning. I needed to go to the music shop there to get a few things for school - Mr Caz takes Elinor swimming on a Saturday morning, so it was just me and Abigail.
Colchester is fairly well supplied with car-parks at not-too-extortionate prices - but even just after 10am, the one I went to was practically full and it took a while to find a space.
Recession? What recession?

Date: 2009-03-14 07:17 pm (UTC)I saw an advert in the paper here for day trips to a centre in Newry (just north of the border), the bus leaves at 4am and it's something like a 6 hour drive but people are apparently booking seats :D

Date: 2009-03-14 07:30 pm (UTC)My brother had some buy his Wii for him in Newry. We're being ripped off in Ireland, set price things like games consoles and ipods etc are way more expensive here than in the UK.
