Long Live the Demented FanGirls!

Last summer, when Catherine Tate was appearing in a play in London, DFGs hooloovoo_42, zinke and I went to see it, and managed to meet CT afterwards. We chatted for a while, and then Fenny presented her with a DFG T-shirt featuring a mug shot of one Mr Whitford (taken in NY), together with a smaller, heart-shaped photo of CT and David Tennant underneath. Ms Tate seemed a bit bemused initially, but when she realised it was a pic of Brad on the shirt, she whooped with glee, and yelled, "oh, I love him!!!!"

Anyway, this morning on Radio 2, Tate & Tennant were sitting in for Jonathan Ross - and I really think they should do it more often, because they're a fantastic double act - and a listener emailed or texted in to say that they had been given a t-shirt for Xmas which had David Tennant's face on it, and that she was wearing it - and her husband was sulking. Heh.

CT then went on to describe - IN DETAIL - the shirt that Fenny had given her last year! If it's up on Listen Again, it was in the first half hour or so of the programme.

omg I was listening to the show and I heard her describe that shirt, thinking 'Brad shout out! How cool!'. Little did I realise it was YOU GUYS SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT!! WIN!

They've been on telly together a few times over Xmas and you can tell they really do get on fantastically well and just "click". This is the second time they've sat in for Jonathan Ross, and I hope they can manage to get them to do it again.

I'm not sure if zinke has managed to hear it yet - I'll ask her :)
