This isn't something I normally do because I tend to like to keep fic fairly close to my chest until I'm satisfied that it's in a decent enough state to let someone else see it. But I'm still at home - recovering, thankfully - and I'm determined to stay awake so this is by way of stopping me dozing off!

I've never been one to be overrun with plot-bunnies, so there aren't too many of these.

Waaaaaay back in 2008, there was sorkin_fest. I took three prompts (greedy of me, I know!) and managed to finish two fics in time - In Plain Sight (http://caz-fic.livejournal.com/14107.html) and Everything Old is New Again (http://caz-fic.livejournal.com/14517.html) - and to more than half finish a third one, the prompt for which was Josh/Donna - press scandal.

There are so many fics out there which take the view that Josh and Donna having a relationship would create some big scandal, result in the press having a field-day and making all sorts of accusations about her competence and calling his judgement into question - but I never really bought into that scenario. So I decided that my fic would be about them dealing with a scandal about someone else.

I hate having done a fair bit of work on something and not finishing it, and I keep saying I'll finish it if it kills me! I did look at it the other week actually; part of the problem I'm having is that my current writing style is different (all my DW fics are present tense, whereas the WW ones were in the past tense) and the old way looks "wrong"!

But you never know. Keep watching this space!
