caz963You know how you have an idea for a fic that is quite possibly - in fact, almost definitely - the most completely and utterly stupid idea for a fic that you've ever had because it goes completely against your usual principles of plausibility and at the very least, half-way-decent characterisation?
And you know how you ignore it in the hope that it'll go away?
But it doesn't, and in fact instead of it going away, you find yourself writing huge great swathes of it in your head?
And then you think "I know - maybe if I write it down and pretend I've got some intention of actually writing it properly, maybe even finishing and posting it someday, that'll exorcise it and it'll go away?"
And 4,000 words later ...
It's worked! :-)
For a couple of weeks :-(
So you try again.
And 2,000 more words later... it's still there?
Well... what comes next?
(And please - don't say "porn" - because I haven't even got to that bit yet!)
