caz963Did another one today - this time KHo's teriffic Every Goldfish Deserves a Funeral, and its companion piece The Need to Talk About It
Set sometime in S6 - Josh and Donna are on the campaign trail and Donna is falling apart. There were many who felt that the after-effects of Gaza for Donna were swept under the carpet - and I guess they were... there were some very small references in the show but that was about it. Anyway, as KHo herself says, "Donna needs a 'Noel'" and this is her session with Stanley Keyworth. I'm not a huge fan of Josh and Donna having his & hers matching PTSD, but what the hell, this is a fabulous piece of writing!
The companion piece takes place 'during' Goldfish - as Josh talks to Leo on the phone about Donna. Great stuff - and amazingly, none of KHo's stuff appears to have been rec'd before, so I hope this'll be new to a few people!
