Quick fic round up...

I realised I hadn't done a fic update in a while - which is probably because, sadly, there's not a lot of J/D fic being posted these days. Well, not a lot that's worth reading. God, I do sound like a grumpy ol' bitch...
Sally's Unspoken - should carry a kleenex warning, because I think the angst nearly killed me.
christinekh seems to be the current queen of the babyfic (!) with - Itsy, Bitsy Spider and Pudding.
Also featuring baby Isobel is Tickets by
intopolitics.
quaggy_mire wrote a fabulous companion piece to her What Happens in Hospitals - Left Waiting, and Jen Wilson posted a really sweet "what if" called Inauguration Day wondering what would have happened if Leo hadn't died, Toby hadn't leaked and Josh and Donna hadn't left the White House early (thanks to Christine for alerting me to that one.)
zinke is posting a series called "What We Didn't See", attempting to fill in the "gaps" in Season 7 - the most recent three are Spin (post Running Mates), Phoenix (post Internal Displacement) and Action and Reaction(post Duck and Cover). The other instalments and the rest of her West Wing fic is at her fic archive. (Which I've added to my list of author's sites.)
There's a dearth of good S60 fic about - I get about a few lines or maybe a paragraph into some of the stuff that's been posted recently and give up. But I'll holler if I find anything decent!
(Although
bexatious posted something incredibly porneriffic, so you could read that while you wait! :) )

Date: 2007-03-31 09:37 pm (UTC)Well, if you are, I'm one too. It is sad how little decent stuff there is out there at the moment, but as usual you've managed to find it all. Thanks.

Date: 2007-03-31 09:49 pm (UTC)I guess things were bound to tail off once the show ended, but I'm still doing my bit towards keeping things going!

Date: 2007-03-31 09:53 pm (UTC)These tail offs do always happen but hopefully new authors will emerge (or old ones come back) and things will pick up again.

Date: 2007-03-31 10:26 pm (UTC)The lack of good new stuff has got me currently re-reading the Joshua Monologues and other classic epics of late. For the zillionth time. Really. Zillionth.
Any chance of some new ficcy goodness from you in the near future?

Funny you should ask. I do have a little something on the go, but it's nowhere near finished yet. You saw my The Cold (http://caz963.livejournal.com/75143.html) anniversary fic, right?
(And I wrote a *gasp* Studio 60 one as well, which is at my fic page, if you're into that.)
